Adorable 10 month old kitten (Capitol Hill) 

I found this wonderful little kitten rummaging around our garbage cans one night before it got really cold out. He came right up to me, so I know he was once owned by someone at some point. I put an ad on craigslist for the owner, but no one claimed him. I've named him Shadow because he follows me everywhere! He's up to date on shots, FIV/FeLV negative, and has been neutered. The vet tells me he seems to be around 10 months old. He's got pretty big paws, so he's going to be a big boy when he's full grown. He's very sweet and full of life and loves to play with my 25 lb Maine Coon. He loves snuggling and will lick your face if he's feeling super lovey.

Since I live in a studio apartment and already have two cats of my own, I'm starting to feel the strain with too many bodies in such a small space. If I had more room or could afford to get a bigger place, I wouldn't hesitate to keep him. I'd prefer Shadow goes to a home where he will get lots of attention and/or have other kitty/doggy buddies to keep him company. You can come over to meet him in his home environment, then I'd like to make a trip to your home to see where he will be living. This is for my own peace of mind because I want to make sure he's going to have a healthy, happy life.
