Frieda is a beautifully marked "Tortie" kitten. Tortoiseshell cats, always female, are named for their distinctive coloring - a combination of patches of black, brown, amber, red, cinnamon and chocolate. No two torties ever look alike, and Frieda has a wonderful blonde patch on her forehead & nose. Torties also have distinct personality traits: playful and very attached to their human. This is often referred to as "tortitude."

Frieda loves a good game of chase or wrestle with her litter mates, but also naps contently in her warm kitten bed. She even snuggles with the adult cat who is also living in the same foster home. Frieda has been hand-reared by volunteers in the APA! Bottle Baby program, so she is accustomed to being held and cuddled by people. This is a trait she will most likely always have.

Well, Charlie is getting stronger everyday and is starting to get a little braver and trying to walk. Poor little guy has some confidence issues. He gets a little weepy but hopefully he'll get over that eventually.

I can't believe that I'm moving in just a matter of days. I am so excited, though! It'll be a change and it may be tough and I may get homesick, but I truly feel like God has a plan for me and I just can't wait to see how all of this unfolds!

Feeling discouraged. I feel like I get treated differently just because I don't do things the "right" way according to certain people. It's like, "I'm sorry I am an individual and don't follow the crowd."

Looked at a property today. Don't know if it's the one yet, but it wasn't terrible. Guess we'll figure it out when we get done looking at the others.

Went to TLAC today. It was a good experience. I love seeing all the dogs. And even though I can't bring them all home at least I can give them some love, take their pictures, and spread the word about them. Maybe one day I'll have my own rescue.

What a day what a day. Totally exhausted.

Watching "Supernatural." It's a little gorey, but it's interesting to think about. I mean there are such things as demons and angels but no one on a normal day says they see them and when people say they do, people just dismiss them. I don't know. I think it's good to keep an open mind. I mean I'm sure it's possible that they are among us.
